He said, "Truly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but it if dies, it bears much fruit." John 12:24
Ironically, the seed that refuses to die loses its meaning for existing, that of bearing fruit. But the seed the choses to disappear into the soil, embraces all that it's meant to be. When it dies, its glory multiplies, offering vitality to more than just itself. In its death, life abounds, overflows.

Are you willing to be that dying seed? Consider giving two months of your life to advancing God's kingdom among the largest unreached people group in the world, the Japanese. Lay down your familiar plans, and take a chance this summer for the sake of the Japanese. Dying to self is never painless, but one can experience a far greater joy in the life that springs forth. The sacrifice of giving a summer to God and His purposes in Japan could mean all the difference in the life of the Japanese...and yourself.
